Parent Group meets in the library every Friday at 1:30pm until 3:00pm, so why not come along and have a cuppa and a chat! You may need a peaceful, distressing time after a long week at work! The afternoon is very informal and relaxed with no pressure to contribute, a time to get together with other parents/grandparents/guardians for support; or maybe just a chat.
We regularly have visitors from in and out of school join us for some of the sessions and may also deliver a session themselves. See the diary dates to see what's going on in the next few weeks.
Parent group are also a working party for the LPPA Award. LPPA provides a guideline to enable schools to strengthen their partnership with parents and carers. It is a developmental process which, through the involvement of parents, aims to enhance children’s life chances at all stages from nursery to secondary. Mrs Craddock and Miss France meet with us once a month to discuss and develop our LPPA.
